On 25 October 1971, Walt Disney World, the ultimate, world-wide known attraction and amusement park was dedicated. A lot of people are blind as to how Disney World came to be and the significance behind this famous amusement park located in Orlando, Florida. He had opened Disneyland in 1955.
Walt Disney was a film producer, entrepreneur, cartoonist, voice actor and animator. His talents were astonishing and brought about some of the most famous films and television shows like Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937), Pinnochio (1940), Alice in Wonderland (1951), Peter Pan (1953), The Mickey Mouse Club (1955-1959), and Zorro (1959). These movies and television shows have been reproduced from Walt Disney Productions. Alice in Wonderland and Snow White are two movies that have been remade and are world-wide known.
Walt Disney has inspired many film producers and animators throughout his life. “He and his works definitely evolved where he simply began as a cartoonist and became an innovative and very skilled entrepreneur of a multi-billion-dollar family entertainment empire” (About Education). If it weren’t for Walt Disney, who would have created the first sound cartoon or first major theme park?
