On 25 November 1839, the Coringa Cyclone took place. This storm took place in Coringa, India, which is a small village near the Godavari River on the southeastern coast.

Coringa, India was brutally slammed by an absolutely horrifying, destructive cyclone which destroyed the port with immensely strong winds and a forty-foot storm surge.
